Here is an overview for each of the different sections in the myPurseCache app:
Home:
The Home screen includes the following:
Purses:
The Purse section includes all the Purses on your In-Season and Storage Lists.
- In-Season Purses: This is a list of purses that you are currently wearing, or are in-season.
- Purses in Storage: This is a list of purses that you have in Storage.
ADD a purse, tap the “+” button (top right). When adding a purse, you have the option to enter as much or as little information as you want, the only required field is the purse name.
Purse Details: This screen shows you details you entered about your purse. Tap the photo to view a larger version of your purse photo. To edit your purse details, tap the “Edit” button (top right). At the bottom of the screen, there is a toolbar:
- DELETE: To delete a purse, select the “Trash Can” (bottom left).
- FAVORITES: add your purse to your Favorites List by tapping the “Heart” button or to your Storage List by tapping the “action” button (located in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen).
- MENU: when you tap the ‘menu’ button, you can Share you Purse info with friends, add your Purse (or remove it from) the Storage List, and Add the Purse to the Archive.
Save a Copy of your Photos: You have the option to save a copy of your photo to your Photo Library. There are two ways to do this.
- Option 1: on the “Add Purse” screen, after taking a photo, you will be given the option to “Save Copy to Photo Library”.
- Option 2: select one of your Purses, once you are on the Purse Details screen, select the “Edit” button (top right), then tap the image, you will be given the option to “Save Copy to Photo Library”
Purse Collection:
This section includes photos of your Purses (photos for purses on your Wish List are not included).
ADD Purses by tapping the ‘+’ button (top right).
SORT Purses by tapping the ‘sort’ button (bottom right).
Favorite Purses:
Includes all the purses you added to your Favorites.
ADD Purses to the Favorites list by tapping the ‘+’ button (top right).
SORT Purses by selecting the ‘sort’ button (bottom right).
Wish List:
Includes the purses you added to your Wish List.
ADD a purse by selecting the “+” button (top right).
Purse Details: This screen shows you details you entered about your purse. Tap the photo to view a larger version of your purse photo. To edit your purse details, tap the “Edit” button (top right). To delete a purse, select the “Trash Can” (bottom left).
Add to Purses: After purchasing a purse, you can easily add the purse to your main list of Purses. First, select the “Action” icon (bottom right), then select the option to “Move to Purse List”. Your purse will be deleted from your Wish List and added to your Purse list.
Purchase Report:
Find out how much money you spent on Purses.
SORT your purchases by Brand, Store, Month, or Year. In order for a purse to show up in each section, you will need to make sure you have completed the Purchase Details Section.
Statistics:
View Statistics on the Purses you purchased.
The Stats include the number of purses on your Purse List and number of Purses in Storage, along with the value of your purses (this number is based on the amount you entered in the purse price field). There are also stats for how many purses you added to the Wish List and how many Looks you added.
Lists
This section includes all of the list of Brands, Categories, Color, Location, Stores, Tags, etc. When you select one of these items, you are taken to a screen that lists all the items. For example, when you tap Brands, you are taken to a screen that shows all your Brands. To the right of the Brand name is a number – that is how many purses are assigned to that Brand. When you tap a Brand, you can view all of the Purses assigned to the brand
ADD items by tapping the ‘+’ button (top right).
EDIT or DELETE items by tapping the pink ‘i’ on the right side. You will be taken to the details screen for that brand where you can tap the ‘Edit’ button (top right to edit the details, or delete it by tapping the ‘trash’ button (bottom left).
When you tap the row, you will be taken to a screen that shows all the products, accessories, and samples assigned to that brand.
Search
Search all the Purses you added (includes Purses on all the lists: In-Season, Storage, Archive, and Wish).
Options
The Options section includes the following:
Sort Default: set a sort default for Purse List, Purses, Purse Collection, Wish List, and Purchases.
Security: set a passcode for the app.
Export Data: You can export your data (excluding photos) for all of your Purses.
Support
The Support section includes the following:
